I build the software your company needs
Nobody inside is going to build it: either there is no technical team, or there is one and it is busy with the product, and what you asked for sits in the queue for months. I have spent five years running the technology of a SaaS platform, and I do that same job project by project.
Where this starts
Does any of this sound familiar?
Nobody inside is going to build it.
Either whoever built it is gone and nobody knows how it works, or there is a technical team but it is busy with the product and what your department asked for has been in the queue for months.
Nothing off the shelf does what you do.
You have looked at what is sold and every option covers part of it and leaves out exactly your part, which happens to be the one that sets you apart.
You have outgrown what you have.
What coped with the volume of three years ago drags with today's, every change is a gamble because nobody knows what will break, and each new client makes it slightly worse.
There is work done by hand and everyone knows which.
You do not need me to tell you. You know, and you probably also know how many hours go into it each week.
If you said yes to any of them, the first step is to look at what you have. Nothing else has to be decided yet.
What I do
Three ways to work together
Two weeks
Technical assessment
from €2,500 + VAT
I come to see you: I watch how you work, I talk to the people who do it every day and, if something is already built, I look inside it. You end up with a document setting out what has to be built, in what phases, what each one costs and where to start.
It comes with a fixed quote for the work I recommend, and if you take it, the assessment is deducted from that. If you would rather have someone else do it, the document is yours all the same.
Three weeks to several months
Custom development
Fixed price, phase by phase
The system you need, built for your case and connected to what you already use. I deliver in phases, with a demo every week, and each phase closes before the next one starts.
The longest part is almost always getting the data that already exists into it without losing a row. That is the part I know how to do.
Ongoing
Maintenance
Monthly fee, no lock-in
Once a system is running somebody has to be behind it: keeping it up, watching it, and making the small changes without opening a project every time.
There is no obligation to take it. It is what stops you being back where you started in two years.
Why me
Five years building and holding up systems in production
Not theory, and not a portfolio of exercises. This is what I have done, and it is still running.

Impact Tools
CTO · 2021 → nowI joined as a developer and today I run the technology. Along the way I designed and shipped its entire second version: new database, a different engine and an architecture that can be maintained without fear. Five years with the same product in production.
-
Zepo
Tech Lead · 2024 → 2026I stood up the security squad from nothing, not even a prototype, through to production with its first client. Four engineers reporting to me. Before that I built their public API from scratch and remade the campaign engine so it could take the volume every new client brought.
-
NTT DATA
Developer · 2024The internal tool the field technicians of one of Spain's major telecom operators use. It already existed, so the job was not to invent it: it was to make the whole thing again and have it hold up this time.
-
REDINN
Co-founder · 2021 → 2024An ERP for small businesses, built with a partner. The part that took me longest was the importer, which is where an ERP wins or loses a customer: getting years of somebody else's spreadsheets in without losing a row.
Who I am
Héctor Martínez
My name is Héctor Martínez González. I am from Chilches, in Castellón, and I work from here. If your company is nearby I would rather come and see it: a morning inside a factory teaches more than five video calls.
The person you talk to is the person who writes the code. There is no salesperson selling you one thing and a team building another, no project manager in between, nobody you have to explain it all to a second time. And the code is yours and comes documented, so it does not tie you to me.
- Where I am
- Chilches, Castellón (Spain)
- Where I work
- Castellón and Valencia in person. Everywhere else, remote.
